Puppy Picking Details

Your puppy is growing and getting ready to come home with you soon! His/her personality is starting to show too. They are doing well. This is so exciting!!! It’s just a matter or waiting now. Thanks for being patient as your puppy grows old enough to go home with you!

PUPPY PICKING: Here is our plan for picking your puppy.

  1. The first choice goes to the person who has purchased the “first pick” for male and “first pick” for female puppy. The first pick purchasers step in the front of the picking line. Following the first pick for each male and female, the puppy picking is based on the reservation order per male and female reservations after that. First pick can choose in person if they want to (most do not). All other customers will pick their puppy as described below.

  2. Around week five, we will take unique individual pictures of each puppy. Each pup will be labeled with their collar for identification. You can choose from the remaining pups by choosing their collar color. You can see the qualities and features of each dog very well in week 5 to help you select your new dog. The photos will be listed on the mother dog’s litter page for you to see. For example: Golden Litter Gallery/Maple’s Litter/Week 5. We will also have “Puppy Personality Profiles” with descriptions around this time on this page.

  3. We will contact you via email on week 6 or 7 to ask you about your choice of puppy based on the reservation order. Contacting you in week 6 or 7 will ensure you have about a week to see the puppies' photos to decide. Please be flexible as we list the remaining choices for you. The last reservation will receive the remaining puppy after the others are chosen. Please use email, not Facebook/messenger, as email helps us track requests better.

NOTE: We do not open puppy picking until after the pups have their vaccine and their veterinarian has cleared them. We do our best to ensure that the puppy each customer chooses is perfectly healthy. We believe the pups belong to our customers, so we do our best to protect and ensure their health until their new owner picks them up on “Bring Home Day.”

  4. If you know your puppy’s name already, please let us know. We will begin to use his/her name so he/she will become a little more familiar with his/her name. After picking your puppy, you can search for him/her in the upcoming photos.

  5. After all the pups have been chosen, we will contact you via email to set up a time on the puppy bring-home day. We will also send you links with helpful tips and a list of food and products we used in raising your puppy.

We look forward to meeting you and sharing your golden on bring-home day!

PUPPY PICK UP: Here is our puppy pick up plan.

We will email the day and time of your pick up. We have several people picking up their puppy that day, so we have 20 minutes increments of time if you would like to “talk puppies” before taking your puppy home. If the time does not work, please let us know so we can find a good time. We would like to see each puppy go to their wonderful new home on their 8 week birthday!

More details for pick up will be sent to new owners around 2 weeks before pick up.
